This is similar to Hamburger Helper, but it's homemade and healthier. There are no measurements here, so you'll just have to figure that out for yourself.
Use 1/2 package of your favorite healthy pasta. (I use Cybele's Free to Eat Superfood Veggie Pasta)
Boil and drain the pasta as directed on the package.
Brown 1 - 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
Add in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and some Italian seasoning. Stir.
Pour at least half a bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce on it. I use
Stir and heat through until it's all warm. Add the pasta back in. Heat it through. Added lots of shredded cheese to your taste. Stir and serve.
You could easily add in other veggies or other spices if you wanted. Or substitute chicken or pork.
You can make it dairy-free by using vegan cheese.
