1 Cup softened butter
1/2 Cup powdered sugar
1 Cup chopped pecans
2 Cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
Mix ingredients together until well blended. Form dough into small balls.
Bake at 300 degrees, up to 15 minutes (these will not brown).
While balls are warm, roll in powdered sugar.
NOTE: They spread a bit and don't retain their perfect ball shape; the bottoms
will be flat.
